First of all, when people become "born again christians" they automaticly assume that they have to be "good" and no longer sin anymore to be saved . Or stop all sin.

This is not true, In John 6:29 Jesus tells us the only thing which men must do to be saved... “Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” Amen!

It is by GODS grace that you are saved, just by beleiving and nothing more! even the man hanging next to jesus on the cross just beleived in him and went to heaven!

Man will  continue into sin because we have that "sinful nature".  We cannot stop! its just impossible in our current bodies!

We may be born again "spiritualy" but seeing that we are still in the flesh we are still under the curse!

Think of it this way, if you tried stopping sin like "some" of these so called TV preachers , then whom is to say how much sin is too much? Didnt jesus die for all your sins? He didnt say you could lose your salvation just because you made a mistake and sinned again,it happens to all belivers. when JESUS died on the cross it was for "all" your sins past, present and future. Period! end of story!

Please dont think that you must earn your salvation it is a free gift of god!

Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.”

Anyone telling you they are a christian and no longer sin anymore  douse not truly understand the bible and are beleiving in something called "works salvation" a deadly false gospel! you do not need works! the bible says clearly in Romans 4:5  "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
Dont misunderstand me though ,god hates sin and would like us not to sin anymore. All im saying is that it is not a requirement to gain or keep your salvation.

jesus himself will teach you and chastise you in what you should and what you should not to do because he now lives in your heart.

Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay. That's God's grace! Like it or not, you are just too sinful and wicked to save yourself—you CANNOT earn your way into Heaven. This is the very reason why God had to provide a way of escape for humanity. This way of escape has been provided through the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God did this because He loves us very much, more than we can possibly comprehend. Don’t make the mistake of creating God in your own image, you were created in God’s own image. You are the object of the Heavenly Father’s love—so much so that He created you in His very own likeness. Jesus paid for our sins because He loves us... Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren(1st John 3:16). What a precious Saviour!

Another thing all christians should know is that the road a head is not an easy one now that you are saved you ar going to be tempted and persecuted by the devil.

he hates that fact that you accepted christ! but donT fret my friend because jesus has overcome the devil! AMEN!

When Jesus gave his life on the cross as the sacrifice for the sins of the world, He also redeemed us from Satan’s power and dominion over us. “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Col. 2:15). “...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Praise God! Satan is already a defeated enemy! His legal authority was neutralized by the finished work of Christ on the cross

in closing i would like to say that your still human when you become a christian so stya dillegent pray and study the scripture and search for the truth...

And you wil find it!

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

god bless you in your new christian walk!
